Winter Newsletter

Wow, what a year 2021 was! While last year had plenty of challenges related to the ongoing pandemic, our ministry through the Sacramento Youth Center overcame those challenges and saw some amazing triumphs.

We started the year renting one suite of a much larger building, by July we had taken over the entire building. In February we opened a café, that we have provided job training for youth and jobs for at risk youth, as well as serving amazing coffee 6 days a week.

In April we opened our second youth center location, three days a week we are providing mentoring and a safe place for students in South Sacramento. In June a High School opened into our North Sacramento building.

In November we were approved to become one of California’s first medical billable Peer Specialist providers. In December we started moving equipment into our music studio.

Sacramento Youth Center is operating mentoring contracts for the State of California, the City of Sacramento, a local school district and a few local schools.

This is all because of your donations, and support. 2021 was a very good year for Sacramento Youth Center and we cannot wait to see what God has for us in 2022.
